Augusta Pines Fireworks

We love walking to Augusta Pines Golf Club and watching their firework display around the lake on the 4th of July.  This year our daughter was home and took this wonderful picture.  It does give that bombs bursting in air look.  We are so blessed to live in this country and I love Independence Day!

Hi Marchel, Very nice shot of the fireworks! Tarina captured it perfectly.  I love Independence Day, too, this year, I worked and missed most of it -- nice to see fireworks on AR :-)

Howdy there Marchel

Your daughter, sure does take some mighty fine photos. Fireworks sure are not at all easy to take a photo of.

I also really enjoy Independence Day!

P.S. Carl and Ceil's, son David joind AR to day. And posted his first post today also. Its posted in the Texas Real Estate group.

God Bless America

I think a lot of people enjoy these beautiful fire works... they are beautiful when over the water.

Hello Marchel, Tarina captured a great photo of your fireworks display. They are often very hard to snap them and make them turn out ok.

Hi Marchel, I used my new camera and tried really hard to get some great fireworks pictures over the 4th but I can tell you, these are very difficult to capture. Here is a sample of one of mine to share.

ooooOOOOOOOOOOoooooo, that is a great photo, one of the best I've seen.  Probably because it is just a little different composition than the typical shot.  Love the little twirling thingies!

Marchel:  Another great photo from Ms Tarina.  Such talent.  Like Mother, like daughter it appears.  I bet it was really a fun evening... such beautiful colors.  Thanks for sharing... and thanks, Tarina !

I have seen quite a few pictures of fireworks this year. This is another good one. For some reason I can never take a decent picture of fireworks myself. I might be able to if my wife would let me use the GOOD camera... but she doesn't.

Marchel, What a shot!  I never seem to manage to capture fireworks just the right way.  William's photo is terrific too.  I'll have to try harder :)

We enjoyed a great display at Lake Limestone this year. There must have been  at least 50 homeowners shooting off at once over the lake.

MARY, Many years I have worked on Independence Day but this year I had it off.  I guess that is part of the joy of Independence Day we get to decide how we spend the day.

DALE, I hear you!  I tried fireworks and my attempt was futile.

JOAN, You are right there's something special watching them over water.

MARTI, My daughter took that picture.  I'm glad that she is using the graphic art degree for something.  She is an International flight attendant and also gets some great pictures from around the world.

ANN, I thought she did a great job also!

GARY, They are beyond me.  I tried one time and they were just a smudge.

WILLIAM, That is a gorgeous shot!!  You did a GREAT job!!

TONY & DARCY, I've been enjoying the heck out of our local fireworks display.

JANNA, My daughter is very good at getting things from a different angle than normal.  Actually that has been her personality her entire life.

KAREN ANNE, It was fun to have both of my children home this 4th of July.  Tarina heads back to NCY on Monday to work.  She actually flies to NYC only to fly back to Dallas to move troops to Germany.

Marchel - I'm looking at your pictures, and those of William's, and I'm envious.  I tried to take pictures of the fireworks last year, and was such a miserable failure, that I didn't even try this year:-(

Great fireworks shot, it reminds me of the security word we have to write before posting a comment!  LOL!  Sometimes I can't make out what the word is!

Marchel, here in DC we take our fireworks really seriously.  I went out to dinner at a rooftop restaurant with my sweetie last Friday and there were fireworks going off on the horizon - a week after the 4th!

Marchel  Fireworks may have been invented in China, but they are truly American on the Fourth of July,  Karen

JESSE and KATHY, Happy belated 4th to you also.

MIKE, She does take some great photos!  I'm glad to see her using her graphic art somewhere.

CONNIE LOU, It is always a fun display of fireworks.  It seemed a little short this year but I guess finances are tightening everywhere.

JOHN, I'm with you on taking firework photos; mine are a big blur.

CHARLES, I love the big displays.  I'm not too crazy about those that go BANG.

CAROLE, You and me both.  I try to learn from our daughter but she just has that knack.  I'm sure it would help if I understood the setting better also.

TREY,I'm working with clients right now who have a vacation house at Lake Limestone.

CARON, That would be my daughter's timing but she does do a good job.

GEORGE, I loved how unique it is.  I thought Williams was very unique also though.

JIM, I loved your play on F words.  I did have Fun, Food, Fireworks, and Fellowship with Family and Friends on the Fourth.  I've been going to write a post about our 4th but I'm so busy I can't hardly see straight.

MRYL, You would be looking at my daughters photos.  So far I've been a miserable failure at this also.

JENNIFER, I agree!  Fireworks are fascinating.

SHARON, It is weird sometimes I'm asked for a security word and other times I'm not.

PATRICIA, We take our fireworks seriously also.  Typically I hear fireworks the entire week but not this year.  I was very proud of my neighbors when I heard very few as we are DRY, DRY, DRY!!

KAREN, We love to take things as though they are our own and this is a fun thing to take.

Marchel, your daughter did a fabulous job of capturing not only the visual aspect of the fireworks, but also the essence of the celebration. Thanks for the link to the cloud group. And Congratulations on reaching Ambassador status on the Rain!
