(Note - Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all Tempe Arizona dog parks. Also remember that it's the law in Tempe Arizona for pet owners to pick up their pet's feces. Mitchell Park is located at 900 S. Mitchell in Tempe Arizona - (just south of University Road).
There are lots of benches and a water hose area. There is a double-gated entry. Only one dog per person is allowed in the enclosure. Mitchell Park also offers drinking fountains for both dogs and their people, tables, poop bags and trash receptacles, shade trees, and lights. Creamery Park is located at Una Avenue and 8th Street - ( just west of McClintock in Tempe Arizona.)
There is parking on the street. This is a small dog park and it is recommended only for small dogs. Only one dog per owner is permitted. Creamery Park has drinking fountains for both dogs and their owners, tables, benches, poop bags and trash receptacles, shade trees and lights. Papago Park is located at 1000 N. College Avenue in Tempe Arizona - (College Avenue and Curry Road).
Papago Park offers drinking fountains for both dogs and their owners. There are tables, benches, poop bags and trash receptacles, shade trees, and lights. Dogs must be under voice control and the handler must be within the enclosure at all times. No more than 3 dogs per owner/handler. Food is not allowed within the dog run.
