We don't do that here

Paper.  Paper.  Paper everywhere.  I'm overwhemed with paper.  Although, more & more agents are using online forms to type the initial offer from that point on it is faxed & copied & faxed & copied.   Ugly.  It's just ugly.  How can one little 'ole agent get the momentum going?

We use the Docusign program and email our clients the forms, they sign online and return the email we forward that to Relay which is a transaction program and everything is online... NO MORE PAPER!  The only way to go!!

Here's what most agents in our area do.  We type the original and then email it after scanning it.  It is clean and beautiful and cuts down on paper.  Our copier converts the doc to a PDF for us.  Good luck!

We use Docusign also.  And even when working with physical signatures and negotiating counters, we always incorporate terms into a clean version of the contract (or ask other agent to do so), so there are no initials, strikethrough text, etc. We scan the final version rather than faxing it, so the image stays pretty clear and might only be faxed once by or to the title company or lender.  It's much easier to work with later!

One thing I started doing years ago was getting alot of my signatures on my tablet computer.  The technology is really much better today than it was when I first took this route.

I'm with you - - Even with most people having the capability of scanning and emailing, you still end up with lots of paperwork.  I am going to look into Docusign.  One other problem I have is clarity.  Even though most scan and email, you have one person in the mix that is still relying on faxing and the quality is lost.  The document becomes unreadible.
