Sesame Street celebrates its 40th anniversary this season, making it one of the longest-running shows in television history and the popularity of the Muppets continues with the creation of their newest video. The Muppets parody of Queen's Bohemain Rhapsody hit the web on Wednesday and immediately went viral getting more than 1.5 million hits the first day and closing in on 5 million today.

Hi Donna ~ I remember when their first album came out - we must have listened 100s of times - I probably wasn't as enthused about later ones but that first one was super. This video is a riot - I love how I get my pop culture fix on AR.

Liz - I can still remember singing and dancing with my two boys to music of the Muppets and enjoying watching the hundreds of episodes of Sesame Street. It's amazing how their popularity is celebrated around the world and how big a part they play in our pop culture. :)

Donna, That was SOOOOOOOOOOO Cute! I am a muppet fan and have been since I started having my kids watch Sesame Street :) I even enjoyed the movies and hadn't seen this video which I loved. Thank you for sharing it.
Donna, I spent a lot of hours watching Sesame Street with my kids, and I will probably being doing the same thing with the Grand Kids when they come along some day.
