Home Stager with Stage-Show-Sell

A few weeks ago I wrote and asked for AR help

i-m-flummoxed-with-these-two-rooms-help-me

I read all of your advice and did what I could with the budget given me. This home was a little different than the homes that I normally work with. The family was 'very close' in watching the process.

Most of the estates I work with I'm given a little more free ride with the preparations for sale.

1960 Laundry Room

After

2009 laundry room

Given free reign I would have replaced the sink with a bigger laundry tub. The cabinet would have accomodated it.

1960s mud room now 2009 mud room

The carpet was removed with the wallpaper and shelving

Given my way.....I would have removed the wall between the laundry and mud rooms, making it much larger. My process would have been cheaper too.

I know this frustration very well. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could just do it our way and see it finished the way we know it should be? At least you have the satisfaction of having made a difference! Huge improvement!

Kathleen, I'm so please that you like it. The house was a two month project..starting with the estate sale.

Sharon, I would have loved not having someone watching every penny I spent and not letting me do what I wanted to do. MY WAY :-) would have been better and cheaper.

Using the RES shows this way I can see how many people click on it to view and don't take the time to comment.

Patty, the client 'control issue' was difficult and I it was a good experience for me. Not everone sees things through my eyes. I grow with every job and challenge.

Kathy, I love these challenges. Estates are my speciality and I never know what we will find buried.

Marianne, you are right. This was a fun one to stage. The staging is fun, after the hard work is done, and we make it look good to the buyers eyes. It's not just clean now. It looks good. Thanks for working with me.
