True story!

Why I didn't run in the Rock and Roll Half Marathon today. http://rnraz.com.

Do you want the excuses?

My home office usually meticulously clean is covered with files on desk, on floor all over why?

I have an appointment with my CPA tomorrow at 10am. I need to get everything in order so I can eagerly see what my refund will be. I have been one of his first clients every year since 1988! I usually have my refund by Feb 9th.

Not good enough huh?

OK how about I really didn't train properly and really noticed it when my 6yr old made me work overtime in a run yesterday! Sound better?

Last year I had to watch the Cardinal Playoff game while soaking in a tub of ice water. I am not complaining about that it kept the beer cold. :)

So I am in my office pounding away at my taxes and the Cowboys and Vikings are on... No Beer yet

Too funny, Paul, especially since I completelly identify with your post.

I plan to run the Napa Marathon in early March, and get tugged in many directions when I should be training. Today, a drizzly one here in the San Francisco Bay Area, I opted not to do my 8-10 mile run at 8:00 AM with my group since I have a disgusting cold; now I need to get myself away from the computer and out by myself -- much harder!

I heard fro a Dr. on the new this morning... If you have the sniffles, or a head cold you can run.. But if you are coughing, have a fever or chest cold you need rest. I do feel a bit guilty as I let my accountability partner down, but he is there. in 2004 I did 3 Marathons and 1 1/2 marathon. I don't think I want to do another marathon... Not as fun and your too tired to drink afterwards. :) the half your done in about 2 hours and still have energy to play!

However that being said Napa sounds like a beautiful place to run a marathon

I was in that school. How about this... "I paid $80 and I I got was a number and a t-shirt" LOL!

I was hoping that would convince me and it did last year, as I did that un-prepared as well. There is nothing wrong with walking it. A boss in my past did that every year. I just ran out of time for other commitments this weekend.

Well I was born and raised in Wisconsin so Naturally you would expect me to be against the Vikings, But I know a guy who is a huge fan of theirs and I am leaning that way. No the Cowboys... I have never liked the Texas attitude... "You the world revolves around Dallas" I am sorry if I offended anyone from Texas. I have two brothers there it is strictly sibling rivalry nothing to get upset about. But I have a buddy that is a huge Cowboy fan and if I say anything bad he may kick my @$$. (Not really)

It would be exciting to see old man farve play another game or two
