BUZZ from GOOGLE on Gmail by HelpfulHannah

I've been testing it out all day today. I find it very limiting but i do like that your contacts are automatically added.

Hannah - Great stuff !  "The buzz" is pretty amazing.  I have a Google email account that I do not use that often.  It might be time to make the switch !

The Buzz showed up in my Google G Mail account this morning. looks like their version of Facebook and Twitter,

Yes, it's competition for Facebook, just like FB was competition for MySpace.

It will never end, I guess.

I'm about ready to walk away from Facebook.  Every time they do an "update", it drastically changes the way the site operates and what posts/updates appear on the homepage.  And, of course, every starts a new "we want the old facebook back" fan pages.  But, alas, I'm all but addicted to FB, and still go there.  I do hope Buzz goes somewhere.  And, I like the follower thing, in that every "contact" in Gmail isn't a default follower.

It sounds like it could be interesting.  Google just keeps finding new things to offer.

Hannah, I got a pop up on my gmail inbox about buzz the other day. I have to admit I clicked Not Now! When I find the time I'll check it out.

I've been waiting for over a year for my google voice invite? Anyone?

Hannah - I'm not sure if Buzz will gain major traction or not, but their launch timing was exquisite, with people complaining about the new Facebook design.  Thanks for the post - I've been playing around with Buzz this afternoon.

We're still trying to figure out what the 'buzz' about Google Buzz is. Seems like just another aggregator and there's already Friend Feed and countless others to do that.

I agree with you Hannah - I like almost everything Google throws at me - Gmail, Google Docs, Reader, Google Voice, Picasa & Picasa Web Online, - - whew the list is getting long!  :-)
