Kitchen view from a home in Pima County

I visited a friend on the east end of Pima County last Saturday.  Their home is beautiful, but the thing that captivated my attention was the view from the kitchen sink!

Buyers have a long list of "wants."  One of mine has always been a kitchen with a view.  Kitchens are a major selling point in a home.  Kitchens with a view up the ante!

Whether it's your own view, or that from your favorite listing, please share a photo of your favorite kitchen view here in your comment.  If it's a listing, feel free to add a live link to your listing website!

Kitchen views are not as common as they used to be.  It is a pity.  The house I grew up in had windows that opened and closed over the kitchen sink - that looked out into the family room.  Can you guess it was an old farm house that had additions?  LOL

That is definitely a view to hope for -- nice  --- many kitchens do not have any view at all -- dark and always need a light .

Wow, what a beautiful view!  I would never get the dishes done, I'd be staring out the window daydreaming.

GOOD MORNING MIKE!  Well it's too early to snap a photo - but let me describe my view:  My daughter swinging on her swing-set waving to me as she shouts "Hi Mommy!"!  It's a beautiful view! -- Gab

That is a beautiful view, Mike!  If the view is special, it should certainly be included in the photos.

This isn't the kitchen view, but I thought this view of Pikes Peak out the master bedroom window of one of my listings might work, instead.

Mike - My kitchen window doesn't have a view like this, and I doubt that many do. Great shot again.

Larry,

I know mine doesn't!

Mike,

Pike's Peak nicely framed!  Now that's a great view.

Gabrielle,

Thanks for the word picture!  You're so good at that.

Doreen,

That's what I said to the owners.  LOL

William,

That home sits on a section of land.  Just imagine!

Carolin,

That's the truth.  Most don't.  When there's a good view, though, I like to make the most of it.

Brenda,

I can "see" what you're describing.  Thanks for commenting.

Caron,

Come on back with the picture!

Debi,

Thanks for stopping by!

Teral,

I wonder if they'd go for a mural?  :)

Hi Mike, I love the kitchen view from your friends house.  I have a pretty great view, but I would have to wash the windows before I posted a photo here, or wait for the sun to move LOL!

Mike,

I've hesitated to comment, because all I could think of was how much I miss film!

It's a great view, a good photo, but we're real estate people.  Our automated cameras just don't see the way we do. It would be great to show the view and the kitchen. You can do that with film. Stop down the lens for a proper exposure when bouncing a strobe off the ceiling the using that f-stop set the stutter to properly expose the the view.

I love your photos and William Johnson's digital has allowed us to take so many photos it's great, but it's also limited us.

It's just an observation, nothing more, well maybe a little nostalgic. It's a great view well framed.

OK...not the expansive view from the kitchen window you have...

but still quite enlightening, would you agree?

All the Best from your snow-on-the-mountain pal in Asheville, janeAnne..

where,at my kitchen window I can see the bear path (sure am pleased to know that  the bears are sound asleep ) and I'm thinking an organic tomato, warmed by the sun, will  taste mighty fine... =)

Doreen,

That's something I have yet to try out.

Vegas Bob,

There are still some wide open expanses in the west!

janeAnne,

Thanks for the view; I miss Asheville.

Bill,

It was a sad day when they stopped making slide film...

Mary,

We can wait...

I have an amazing view of our pool and the mountains behind us.  I can see a little of Red Rock Canyon + always have a view of Mt Charleston which gives me a little snow in winter ;)  I will have to remember to take apic tomorrow.  It's dark here now!

@Doreen,

Thanks! Loved the photos, but I don't think it was the same. The industrial building looks to be available light. I subscribed.

@Mike

The thing about digital is it's so easy to carry and cheap to use that people are carrying and using them. Not to mention As you keep proving they are incredibly capable!
