Attitude and Arrogance, Where did they come from?

Were we born with it? I don't think so. Growing up the son of a successful businessman, I was taught from a early age that Respect is something that is earned, never is respect just given. When a smile and a handshake in a business transaction meant more than any handwritten and signed contract. When a man was only as good as his word. WHAT HAPPENED? When did the I am better than you all start and begin. I don't know but I thought we all put our pants on the same way? Silly me for thinking that. What ever happened to helping your neighbor? I mean it, have you helped the person who lived right next door to you? Lets take it one step forward how many of you even know your neighbor?

Attitude and Arrogance, no one needs it, unless it's a p[positive attitude, but that's not what we are really talking about here, see if you had a ppositive attitude, you would not have the arrogance, as they go hand in hand. You are a better person without it. Is not everyone created equal? They say today's world is a dog eat dog world,,, Not Really, See all you really have to do is care about people, and remember that old saying? treat someone the way you would like to be treated. Wow! You see actions really do speak louder than words. Take a good look at yourself in the mirror and ask, am I the type of person I hope my kids grow up to be like? I hope so. When is the last time you have stopped to help the person on the side of the road? or do you turn your head the other direction and simply drive by?

Now do yourself a BIG favor, go to the cupboard and mix in with your bowl of attitude and arrogance a big ole spoonful of greed, hate, and gluttony, There a mixture for success, Right? Wrong!!! It's a mixture but stop and think, Where is this going to get me? Who's list am I working my way to the top of? Well let me assure you, not the list I want to be part of.TAKE TODAY, we all have to start somewhere, and be that better person, wait that second at the interstate(let that person who stopped before you, actually pull out before you), let the person with that 1 or 2 items at the store go ahead of you, hold the door for that person coming in or leaving, and say good morning, WOW how much work does this really tale? I can tell you it's contagious. Stop take a second and smell the roses. pretty sweet hey? See it really does not cost a dime to be nice. Attitude and arrogance does not exist in my life, ask me, am I good at what I do? My reply is yes, I strive to be the best at what I do every day of my life, but you see, I do this without attitude and arrogance.A ppositive attitude can be one of the best things that you can teach your kids.

Attitude and arrogance really gets you no where, no one likes them, hell even arrogant people cannot stand other arrogant people, See that's funny, I don't care who you are, that's funny.

You see the only one who could have chose to have attitude and arrogance, well those two words were never in his vocabulary. Soon we will be morning his death, but better yet, we will be celebrating his Resurrection.. You see Jesus, he died for our sins, he was perfect, the only one without fault. Now we can choose the path we want to follow, me I choose to simply treat everyone the same, I smile, I wave, and I help my neighbor. Another thing my dad taught me was son, a mans actions make the man, NOT HIS POCKET BOOK. There are so many easy ways to respect the fellow man, and it's easy to do so.

Do you wake up in the morning and say"mirror, mirror on the wall, am I not better than them all? If you do, wow do you really expect the good Lord to say sure Don, You are the Man, yeah your better than all the rest of everyone my father created. If this is really what you think, all I can say is I am sorry! I will keep you in my prayers. Remember you get more bees with honey than you do with vinegar.

Please realize that this article was not written for everyone, but if the shoe fits, well then, cut the crap and buy new shoes, you will look and feel better even if you are bare footed.  I really is easy. keep up the P.M.A. and G.F.S. That postitive mental attitude, and go full speed. Remember Honesty, Loyalty, and Integrity, three great words to live your life with. Live by them and watch, give your clients what they really want.and watch your sales soar, no one will know why, but you will. You see I do believe that there is no such thing as strangers, just friends we haven't met yet!  Till next time.
