Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies

                                             Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies

2 Cups Sifted Flour

1 teaspoon Baking Powder

1/2 teaspoon Soda

1 teaspoon Salt

1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts

2/3 Cup Butter

2 Cup Brown Sugar

2 Eggs

2 teaspoon Vanilla

1 Pkg Chocolate Chips

Add flour, baking powder, salt, soda, and brown sugar in a bowl.  Add butter, eggs, vanilla and 2 tablespoons hot water.  Mix well.   Spread in a well greased 9 X 9 x 2 inch pan.  Sprinkle chocolate chips over top.  Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 20 to 25 minutes.  Cool in pan, then cut into bars.
