Home Staging is the most dependable investment that your sellers can make to insure quick offers for higher prices.  I have personally Staged many properties that have languished on the market for a year or so and then have sold almost immediately after the Staging transformation. As a listing agent, this results in big profits and fewer headaches for you!

Realtors, please inform your clients of the benefits and statistics of Staging!  I will be happy to send you a hard copy of the latest Staging Statistics which show that professionally Staged homes sell faster and for more money.  As an Accredited Staging Professional, I have access to the latest sales success rate information.  According to StagedHomes.com, 95.6I% of ASP Staged homes sell in 37 days or less, with the average time on market of 37 days, versus 212 days on market for non-Staged homes.  These are nation-wide statistics, with Orange County having a similar, if not better rate.

THE TV SHOW DILEMMA

HGTV shows like "The Stagers" and "Get it Sold" are great motivators and introduce the concet of staging to homeowners, but unfortunately, they don't tell the whole story of the invesment in Staging.  Quite often, the information is misleading; i.e., no mention is made of the Staging Design Fee.  Therefore, sellers are shocked when they hear a realistic price for Staging their home.  Also, they don't include the cost of labor.  Painters, plumbers, electricians, and general manual labor costs are never added in.

Nontheless, the visual transformation is an invaluable tool.

Please try to pre-sell the idea of the value of the investment of Staging every property you list.  A few thousand dollars investment in the sale of a $1 million property is a pittance.

Staging works folks. Especially in slow markets. The only reason you see empty listings selling fast is that that market is hot and has low inventory. We always suggest that sellers stage vacant homes...they don't always take our advice...usually to their detriment.
