Homemade Flour Tortillas
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup water
- 3 tblsp. olive oil
In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Stir in the water and oil. On a floured surface, knead the dough 5 - 6 times. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Roll each ortion into a 7" circle.*
In a large skillet coated with cooking spray (or very lightly oiled), cook tortillas over medium heat for about 1 minute on each side. They should be lightly browned. Serve warm.
Makes 8 tortillas.
*If you find one, you can use a tortilla press instead of rolling out dough.
