The wind, the sun, the rain collide over the mountains,
yet, no wrong-headed struggle disrupts nature's encounter,
where Hunter's Green heralds Carolina Blue,
and a rainbow gather to celebrate the last days of May.
Capturing this sweet confection,
he turns to me and says,
"Surely, like these,
so spun together are we,
that what one does, the others feel,
the tearful and the joie de vivre."
And I agree.
For, at the edge of the rainbow,
with the the sun and rain kissing our faces,
in a seamless gathering of the energies of life,
who could dispute
that Mother Nature's lesson in sharing
shines through?
