Fort Collins bows out of Riverwalk land deal - The city of Fort Collins has informed the developer that it will not be part of a proposed land purchase at the southwest corner of I-25 and East Harmony Road.  The city had agreed in February to buy 128 acres of the southern portion of the proposed 293-acre Riverwalk development from The Turnkey Cos. LLC for $4.425 million.  The city had planned to use the property to expand an existing gravel pit into a 1,500-acre-foot water storage facility and open space area.  The deal was contingent on Turnkey purchasing the property from its owner, Fort Collins-based Stoner and Co.  Read full article:
