Here'a new scam email BE ALERT! BEWARE!
"My name is John Weans a Real Estate Consultant. My client, Siam Rai, Software Manager in TISCO BANK PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED in Thailand is retiring soon from office and he is planning to relocate to the USA to establish a private Consulting office on security softwares, Oil & Gas.
He want to buy a permanent home there in your locality,
I need you to negotiate with a Realtor or property owner on a particular house, he needs a choice property that would worth between $2,000,000,00 and $2,500,000,00; a 5 bedroom,5 baths, swimming pool and garage for 3 cars in an urban town.
I want to retain your services to assist me in locating a property for my client. The payment for the property is ready,if you have a property on ground now, kindly reply me. johnweans@consultant.com
Update on the other scams.
One agent said
"...another agent from another company brought me an offer from one of these scammers and said the check was being overnighted but he sent more than was needed could I wire the buyer the difference.
They were quite put off when I informed them of this scam going around and I got a wrath of bs from them thinking I was squashing the deal.
...once the check comes, take it to their bank and bring me funds from our local bank.
I havent heard from them in a week. I think they are embarrassed they were almost taken."
