. . . as this daylily does! It has the most wonderful fragrance, just like that of a delicate tea rose.
I am so thrilled with my daylilies this year. My husband bought me an assortment of sizes and colors, and I planted them in groups of five in several places in our garden. Others I planted in the past didn't do very well, but I did some research and planted the scapes in areas with some afternoon shade to protect them from the South Texas heat. This plant started blooming last week. I especially like flowers in shades of apricot and peach, and this one has a beautiful blend of those colors.
