Puppy Love...
Love. What can I say. We ♡ our job, we ♡ our car, we ♡ our football team and yes, we even ♡ NY. What is there not to ♡ about love?
I can remember the first time I was smitten. Some funny googley-eyed gal really got to me. It was love at first sight. She was warm, cuddly and had the cutest nose. From day one, we were joined at the hip. Inseparable buds. Partners for life. My parents just called it "puppy love".
Pshaw!!! What did "old" folks know about love anyhow? Like they were married and all that stuff. Love? Hah! They didn't know Jack!!!
Time passed, and that little googley-eyed gal and I shared the love of a lifetime. She was always there for me. Ready to love me when I was unlovable. To this day, I reflect back on fond memories. Memories that only the bonds of love can tie. I will never forget my first love, but then, what is there not to love about your first puppy...

Helping YOU Help Others Live THEIR American Dream
Gotta love those dogs..they are always happy to see you!! thanks for the post
Believe it or not, I got my first dog at the ripe age of 39. Because I have boys and all boys need a dog. I just love the way she cocks her head when I talk to her! Can't believe I went this long without one.
Good morning Michael,
That photo is so sweet! It's nice sometimes to reflect on fond memories and then keep on moving creating more!!
I just found a picture of that first love, sharing her puppies with me. Well, it sure looks like I am enjoying it!
Jay picture reminds me of pics my parents took of our german shepard and her pups attacking me in my walker. My mom always said the dog let her pups attack me as payback for all the times I fell on her while trying to learn to walk. She died when I was 14.
Michael, this was too cute! Truthfully, it's been kitty love for me and i've fared better with them in life! lol
It was heartfelt post ...thanks for sharing
Michael,
You stole the name of Chuckie Bee's favorite tune. You got no idea of how sick I get of listening to his copy of Donny Osmond doing Puppy Love while Chuckie Bee taps his foot and beats on the dashboard.
Awwww...cute story! I am sure you two were an adorable little pair! And, there is absolutely NOTHING bad about a puppy or any animal! You know I had to get that in there! LOL
That is so cute and so true! I don't think anyone forgets their first love with a pet! Talk about cute little puppies in the picture too! Good post! Definitely leaves with nothing more to say but, "awww.."
Michael
Puppies are very special and and very easily capture your hearth.
Good luck and success.

Michael, so true. When I look into the eyes of my chocolate lab....my heart melts, as he is soooo special.
Do you remember that song "They call it puppy love" I think by Neil Sadaka. Your blog brought back memories. Love the photo.
Michael,
I'm a dog man too. Just don't have time, so I have cats. Less maintenance.
