Lewiston Auburn Liberty FestivalNever Fear!  The economy can't keep Mainers down!

Yes, the 14th annual Liberty Festival is on this year in Lewiston/Auburn Maine.  Fireworks and all!

The annual fireworks display over the might Androscoggin River has become a tradition enjoyed by all from the area and in past years has drawn huge crowds to Lewiston and Auburn Maine.  I know that many have been concerned that budget constraints may put a damper on our July 4th celebration, but thanks to the following major sponsors, the show will go on:

City of Auburn
City of Lewiston
Bangor Savings
Building Solutions LLC
Modern Woodman of America
Sun Journal
Twin City Times

So fire up the grill, enjoy the 4th with family and friends, grab a blanket and a few sparklers and head on down to your favorite spot in Lewiston or Auburn to enjoy the fireworks display starting at 9:30pm.  Come early to enjoy all of the riverfront events, entertainment, and food!

Hint:  There is free parking in the city of Auburn parking garage behind Auburn city hall.  If you park there and plan to stay for the fireworks, it is actually best to park on the top to be able to get out easier.  If you park on the lower levels, you end up waiting for everyone else to come down first before you can back out.

Some great spots in Lewiston:  Veterans park & Railroad park

Some great spots in Auburn:  Hilton Garden Inn, Gritty's, Riverfront Park, Goff Hill on Court Street.  I'll be on Court Street up Goff hill!

See You There!

Thank you Craig, we plan to. :)  It is also my anniversary.  We planned it that way, so that there is always a huge party on our anniversary.  We are just relieved that some businesses stepped up so that it would happen this year.
