Living in the Sunshine State has its perks! Beside the Gulf of Mexico, blue skies and fantastic weather, there are some really beautiful plants that grow here producing magnificent flowers! I always take my camera along when I am out showing homes so that I can get a shot of whatever is currently producing fantastic blossoms!
I have no idea what trees these are but they line Klosterman Road at the entrance to Innisbrook Golf Resort here in Palm Harbor. They are showing off beautiful yellow flowers right now!
Of course crepe myrtle, such as this on CR 39 in Palm Harbor, is everywhere!!!
And here is an interesting vine with orange tubular flowers I found growing near the road. Does anybody have a clue what they are called???
I am sure everyone thought I had lost my mind when I stopped in the center turn lane on Klosterman Road to photograph these buttercups!!!! They covered the entire middle dividers of the road!
These ixora are really easy to grow here in Florida (as is just about any plant that loves humid subtropical weather)!
And no photo collection of local flowering plants could possibly be complete without the Oleander!!!!
There is nothing like the beauty of Mother Nature to lighten your spirits and make you smile! Hope you are having a wonderful day!!!
