Update the taxes in the MLS

By
Real Estate Agent with Transaction Realty 500 Reno, Nv.

We were just mailed out our new property taxes for 2010.  In our area, our property taxes have gone down an average of 10%.  Every listing I have checked shows the old property taxes.  The last one I checked was $300 high.  Check your listings and update the taxes in the MLS.

Matt - I complain about this every year and it falls on deaf ears. It's not until our board threatens a fine that agents do their job on this!

Matt...good points to bring up especially where clients actually pay summer taxes. any down-tick in $$$ will be a boost to the psyche and eventually the check book.
Who knows, maybe that lesser dollar amount may be the reason for some to decide to purchase.
