If you are a sports fan, you will know spirit plays a major role in a game. If the player's spirit is high, they play hard, they
are motivated to move around quickly; they want to win. On the other hand, if the spirit is low, they are dragging, they make mistakes that shouldn't make, and eventually may lose the game.
Many times we let others to crush our spirit, with or without knowing it. For example, if someone else is ahead of their game, it may seem like we are going no where, just flowing around aimlessly. We don't have the spirit to fight, to win, and we allow that to crush our spirit.
We need a game plan when we play, we have to stay alert, watch where the action is going. We are trying to win, to stay ahead of the other team. We may occasionally lose a few points, but we have to think quick to catch up, get back into the game, we want to win.
It is easy to get distracted, but we shouldn't let it stay long with us. Stay in the game, keep our spirit high if we want to win. Even if there is a coach on our side, and we have cheerleaders cheering us on, it is still up to us how to play the game to win.
