I just set a goal last night by putting it in writing I am going to make it to 200,000 points by the end of this year. Base on my calculation, it should be a reachable goal.
2010 is ending in less than 3 months, I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. So many ups and downs has happened, tears and joy, good and bad surprises, you name it, it all happened in 2010.
With many uncertainties coming up in 2011, how are we going to know everything will be okay? We won't. We can only live a day at a time, not to sound depress, but being sure to stay on the ground, and keep our focus each and everyday. I am not a big goal planner, I set small goals, not really a goal, more like a project for myself to work on. I keep working on my project until it is done, then I move on to the next one.
What keeps me going with my projects is I always learn something new and different during the process, and they help me to become a better person and an agent who can in return to help my clients better also.
I know it is key to stick with your goal, but I believe flexibility is also as important. Sometimes we need to change the route a little to make the goal/plan more effective to become successful. I am not a rocket scientist, I don't have a set of formulas for success, but I keep working hard to reach my goal, keep moving and I think it is just as important.
Do you have a last set/s of goal you need to reach before stepping into 2011? Did you write it down as your reminder? I hope you wrap up 2010 strong, and get ready for an even bigger and better 2011!
