Each year, my Keller Williams office in Fishers has a Halloween Party for our Indianapolis and surrounding areas clients, friends, neighbors, vendors etc. Tonight we had a pizza party and decorated the office in preparation. What you see above is in my private office and not out in the main office. One of the agents on my team brought in these tombstones and they were the hit of the evening. I hope my friends at C-21 and RE/MAX will take this as intended!! Totally for fun!!
Silly and fun humor are always great ways to enjoy the evening... Taking the picture and sharing shows the smiles!
We will wait and see if your competitors see the humor. Sounds like a fun party.

Margaret--It was fun decorating and getting ready to have our dear friends and clients in to trick or treat. We always have a great turnout.
Pat, there is more truth to this than fun and that is why some won't see the humor. KW is kicking but all over America . Fine by me but other franchises might not be so comfortable :)
Good for morale, I am glad I don't work for either of those companys now that they are dead.
Ruthmarie--I am so sorry this offended you. My office is not like that at all and this was just a tiny portion of the evening. As I said these two headstones are in my private office---not out where everyone can see them. My office invites our 'competition' to so many events including this one. Likewise, our 'competition' invites us to anything and everything too---and I go. I attended two RE/MAX events just last week. I feel like I want to reach out to you. I am not sure where you do business, but here in Indiana, we are more about helping each other to succeed. There truly is enough business for everyone. Yes, we try to recruit, but I am contacted no less than 3-4 times per week by other companies wanting to recruit me. We all have fun with it here. It will be interesting to read other comments.
Sharon--Maybe I am just too naive. I have been with KW for five years now---was with RE/MAX before that and the office I was with shut down or I would still be there! Honestly, REALTORS in this area get along and support each other for the most part. I would never have put the picture up if I thought anyone would get upset---and so far, only a KW agent has been upset. Interesting, huh?

Jay--Prudential is growing in the area I am in. However, they are probably the one company that has not yet tried to recruit me! Maybe they are waiting until they get settled......:-)

Oh, I think they are TOO cute! Great idea! And yes, our competitors would also see the humor...and reciprocate at the first available opportunity. It is all in good fun! Gotta keep a sense of humor!

How fun --- I don't think my office decorates! I know we usually have a pumpkin patch for the kids, and they decorate around that, but not Halloween! Looks very festive!
Joan--We actually invite the community to trick or treat at our office---each agent passes out candy. Gives families a safe, warm and dry environment!! It is one of our most attended events!
