Thanks, Steve, for your encouragement. Our first Freedom Rally in Prescott Valley had a budget of around $6,000.  This one is really scary as it is projected to cost around $14,000. We are stepping out on faith that God will provide the needed funds to pay the costs.

You are right, John, The Prez will probably not attend as we did not invite him.  We are making a really big deal of honoring our Veterans by placing them in VIP seating up front.

We tried to sell candidate tables to some of the Democrats who are running in the current election, but they all declined.

Our current Congressional Representative, Ann Kirkpatric did "teletown halls" lately. I made signs that say "A Teletown Hall is NO Townhall at all."

We had a wonderful event, but the turnout was not as high as we had hoped. This is what one of my associates had to say:

I wanted to take a minute to thank you all for your work in putting on a great event. As I was loading out Saturday night I saw a some of you and other volunteers with glum looks. Some folks expressed disappointment that the event was not as successful or as large as we had hoped. I had to contrast those looks with the people I had seen a few minutes earlier streaming past our booth as they were leaving the event. They were enthused, pumped up and excited to go and vote. They were excited about getting their friends, family and neighbors to the polls.

We often measure our success against our own ideal, a daunting standard. We may not have achieved all of our high goals but to the thousand people in the stands it was great event. I am impressed and heartened anytime I see a crowd that size in our little community. In the end our success is measured not by the number of people in a stadium but by the actions of those we educate, motivate and inspire. By that standard the Freedom Rally II will make a difference in this, the most important election of our time, and a forever change in our community. Best wishes,

We had our event in Tim's Toyota Center, an arena designed for our minor league hockey team. In the configuration we had, it would seat 5,500 people. We expected to pack the arena, but we had around 1,000 people.
