As ActiveRain users, we all know and understand the importance of blogging. That's what we do here. Most of our blogs contain words and pictures, but what about video? And I'm not only talking about third-party videos, but original content. Search engines will love it, and you'll have a new medium to provide valuable information to your clients while perhaps finding new leads.
Why video-blogging? Because YouTube, owned by Google, is the second largest search engine in the world (the first being Google, of course). Just like people choose television over books, our clients are choosing videos over text when it comes to informative blogs. They want to see the information in front of them in a visually stimulating way.
I'm a newcomer to video blogs. I'm still learning, but I'm ready to dive in. I created a YouTube Channel and plan to use equipment I already have or have access to: my webcam, Apple software, and flip cam.
