It is Sorcercer Saturday in Benicia, CA for the next couple of weekends. The Southern Pacific Railroad Depot located at the end of First Street will be all gussied up for fun activities to scare and delight all ages. The Depot which now houses the Benicia Main Street Program will be transformed into a Haunted Depot complete with ghosts, goblins and spirits galore!
Along with the Haunted House there will be a pumpkin patch, tractor rides, petting zoo, kid activities and even "special brews" for adults. Admission to the depot is $3 for adults and $1 for children under 6 with a canned food donation OR if you forget a can of food the admission price is $6 per adult and $3 for children under 6.
Times open to visit are Fridays Oct 15, 22,and 29 from 6-9PM. Saturdays Oct 16,23,30 from noon to 3PM and for scary times from 6-9PM. Sundays Oct 17,24 from 3-5PM and on Halloween Oct 31 stop by and visit from 3-8PM. Plenty of parking is close by.
When you are pumpkined out, take a stroll down First Street, grab a bite to eat or hike along the shore line of the Carquinez Straits. There is always plenty to do in Benicia, CA.
