Tomorrow night, the Loveland City council will be voting on a proposal by McWhinney Enterprises to allow for a new Metro Tax District to be formed within Centerra's borders. The proposed Metro Tax District will be used for infrastructure and community amenities within the Lakes at Centerra development. While I am not a big fan of any new tax, I do believe that those who have a vision of this first class community may feel like this is money well spent. In essence, the tax is optional..... if you want to live in this community, you will have an additional tax. If you don't, you won't. How many times do you get that option?
The city council meeting starts at 6:30PM on Tuesday, September 4th.
