Who are these people? I don't know. I was sitting at the booth next to them and I can tell you one thing. They were having a blast. Roaring laughter and thrilling shrieks from this table kept the room vibrating. I was tempted to ask them if I could switch tables - switch to their table, it was certainly fun sounding.
It had been far too long since my last visit to The Neon Grill. It's a great restaurant, with fantastic food - and the customers are in GREAT moods!
We've had a long hot summer here in Bonita Springs and unfortunately, we've lost a few of our beloved restaurants. My personal favorite, The Toucan Grille closed in June and just last week, Duval Street closed, too.
My new favorite, non-franchise, locally owned restaurant is The Neon Grill. The food is outstanding and the owner is nearly always on site, recognizes the regular patrons and thanks them for stopping in. Plus, there are menu items for pickies like me.
The Neon Grill Restaurant is located in The Center at Bonita Springs. It's that shopping center with Publix, Bealls and Kmart on the corner of Bonita Beach Road and US 41-Tamiami Trail. Stop in for a great dinner and to meet Jim, the owner. He's waiting for you! Also read this great article about The Neon Grill.

My favorite is the portobello sandwich with caramelized onions and goat cheese. Magnifico!
