Being at the right place at the right time... How many times have you heard this phrase in your life time? Well today, I was in the right place at the right time for a change... but not for real estate. But it *might* help my career.

With Thanksgiving this week, I wanted to make sure my van was ready for the road trip to New Hampshire. So, I took it to Toyota in Middletown.... like I do every year.
When I checked in I was informed a commercial was being shot and never gave it any thought.
So, I am in the waiting room and the next thing I know the commercial is being moved from the front room to the waiting area. Most people got up and moved to the other side, not to get in their way. I was in my own world, checking emails and texting that by the time I got up and was planning on moving there wasn't any more room on the other side to sit. So I just stayed put. Come to find out, they like the idea of having a customer in the commercial, they felt it would give more authenticity to it. I signed a waiver...and there you have it "I'm in show business"..lol. Hopefully if I don't get on the cutting room floor you will see me int this Toyota commercial that is being aired next month.
Now for the best part. Any basketball fans will appreciate this. I was sitting right next to Chris Dailey, the assistant coach of the UConn Huskies Women's Basketball. She is the main speaker in this commercial.. and get this... the commercial should be aired at the basketball games too. Now if there was some way to have spun this into more activity for for real estate this would be a plus. Maybe if I were wearing my real estate hat this would have done the trick. So if anyone here in Connecticut is a basketball fan... you might just see me on TV. You never know when you will be in the right place at the right time.
