My buyer client and I have been working together for about a month and a half, and we have looked at a lot of homes. My client has a pretty specific set of preferences - more so than most other buyer clients. After looking at so many properties and not finding what she liked, she had a couple of temptations to call it quits. Each time I would offer her the advice that we just keep looking and something is bound to come along.
Her close friends have also been helping to keep my client encouraged. It's good when a client has a positive support network of encouragement. Too often you have the person or persons that you just know are in your corner, and they turn out to be the most negative about the whole home buying plan.
Well we looked at some nice homes yesterday, and I think we got one that fits my client. She is taking a second look to get a good feel for the neighborhood, and I think she will be calling the house 'home' in a month or so. It is a ranch style home with a very open floor plan. Yard maintenance is provided by the HOA, so she will not have to be concerned about neighbors not keep up their landscaping. I'm checking out the HOA to get more information about its particulars.
