That is one expensive fish.

Here in Minnesota, there are a half dozen or so destinations the people flock to for the elusive Walleye.   If you are fishing for meat on the table, you need to stay very close to home or just buy the fish sticks in the store.   Here is an example of what I mean...

My Buddies Sven and Ole went to the Lake of the woods.  For 3 days they sat in the ice house fishing.   ON the way home,  Sven pipes up..."do you realize that we jsut spent 3 days and only caught one small walleye."

"Ya, I do" replied Ole.

"Do you realize that one fish cost us $1500!" Sven said.

To which Ole says.   "$1500 for that fish, it's  a good thing we didn't catch anymore!"

I love these Sven and Olie Jokes!  They fish for Walleyes here in Wisconsin too...I think this is the giant fish, they sell a stick to beat them once you get them into the boat...apparently they put up a big fight!!

If your friends didn't catch anything of this trip...would the next fish be a $3,000 fish?
