As I look back at 2010, I look at what I have achieved, what my team has achieved, and what our office has achieved. It can best be described as a year of 2 parts. The first, very much influenced by the tax credit, and a tougher second half in which homes were much harder to sell.
In all we were able to keep up with last years 50 homes. We are in the business of customer service, and for sellers that means getting homes sold, actually helping make the decision as to whether they really want to sell, and then making sure that happens. If you are in this situation, I encourage you to watch this Video on selling homes, http://sellmyhomemadison.com/ .
We look at what can be done better. And here is my list of priorities.
•1) Customer service. We can always improve, and I will be emphasizing this to the whole team.
•2) Better marketing of listings. Being with a national company, we are blessed with the only national database, just for Keller Williams listings, and available on 80,000 agent and office web sites. 8 million listings make negotiating power to receive priority placement on over 330 top real estate websites.
•3) For Buyers, we want the online experience to be better and easier. From many sources, our buyers land on the new Real Estate Homes for salewebsite. We want the buyers to be eased into the process and along the way to be preapproved and do neighborhood research without leaving the site.
•4) Buyers can search for any home on the market, yet we are able to promote our listings to better promote our #2 goal.
•5) Build the team as required with quality agents so we can continue to provide the service to cover the new business expected.
•6) Stay ahead of the market through education so we can continue to advise our clients, to maintain and improve on our proud record of actually closing 90% of all homes we put on the market.
In 2011, we look forward to increasing market share for the Real Estate Guy Team. Selling more homes than previously. We wish you a happy and successful new year.
