What a great Friday... a perfect way to wind up the week. I'm headed over the Narrows Bridge this morning to spend the day with Amy Kalafatich (my coworker at The Talon Group) in Gig Harbor, one of my favorite towns in the Pacific Northwest.
You gotta love Social Media. Someday's it's just magical, like today.
We started the day off at Borders Books for a meet and coffee with Matt Morgan, Windermere Real Estate Gig Harbor. Matt and I found each other on Twitter and have been tweetin' back and forth for a couple of months or so.
And now we're here sitting across the table from each other talking up a storm like we've known each other forever...
Thanks Matt, I missed the photo-opp, (coffee hadn't kicked in yet for the social media marketing opportunity) but what a wonderful conversation we had this morning. We connected. You so got it right! Trust the FORCE! You are so on the right course...
I so depend on Amy (of course), and what's next...
Cool... FOOD. It's lunch time! We're headed for the Pizzeria Fondi, Gig Harbor. I was here a few months back in summer. I totally know what I want... That wonderful flat bread hot and fresh out of the oven with garlic, side cheeses, artichoke, red sauce, and a salad! AWESOME!
I promise I won't get too close and hit you with my GARLIC breath. But be for warned, I am from old stock, we love our garlic.
Ah! Too Funny... Another online friend, Stacia Whatley from Hawkins-Poe Real Estate in Gig Harbor. We're friends on Activerain.com
Amy Kalafatich and Stacia Whatley
What absolutely great company to have lunch with and such great fun! We're talking about everything... then dang we run out of time...
"When you're having fun, it passes so quickly."
Two great examples of ROI... we met online and now we're here talking across the table in person.
How cool is that?
Don't forget, you didn't leverage anyone to be here. You just simply responded or initiated the possibility of a conversation and it brought you here...
That's how the magic works...
Thanks Matt, Stacia, and Amy... for a wonderful day in the Harbor...
