So a couple of days ago I wrote about a couple of foxes in our neighborhood, in Berwyn PA but had been so engaged watching them I forgot to take any photos. This morning once again one of them trotted across our drive. I managed to get my camera out and get a shot, a little obscured of him in the neighbors yard. Trudy then shouted that the second fox had just caught a squirrrel and a few seconds later caught photos of him or the first who must have stolen it in the road at the end of our drive.

They might be mates.  One of them killing the squirrel and letting the female have it.  It is nearly mating season in your area, isn't it?

Hi Nick & Trudy - How great that you managed to get photos of these foxes!

Ron, not sure about that, Spring is still some way off unfortunately, but at least these two are ridding us of the squirrels. The first is very interested in what the second was doing, that is true of the other day as well.

Judy, I am very pleased, I love watching these guys, they turn up fairly regularly usuallu alone but the last week we have seen them both at the same time coming from different directions. Not sure if they are male and female or two young males.

Last year one of the local foxes had a run in with our cat, who usually is not that brave, stupid yes, brave no, who was hissing and snarling and although he looked bigger he decided it was not worth pressing his luck and hightailed it out of the yard.

Foxes are getting more and more used to humans must be. I have seen quite a few lately. Nice pics.
