How Many Websites Are To Many ?

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Crescent Moon Realty, Inc. & Land N Sea Auctions.

Yesterday I went to a local seminar where three of the top producing agents in the area spoke about how they are dealing with this real estate market. It was being sponsor by a company that will help you with getting a website up and running. Cutting to the chase, the numbers went like this:

Top producer # 1 has closed 158 transactions this year with 45 in the pipe line. He has 58 websites. With seven members on his team. He intends to sell the leads he is unable to work with to a lead generating company.

Top producer # 2 has closed 100 transactions with 30 in the pipe line. He has 20 websites. 11 members on his team.

Top producer # 3 has closed 34 transactions with 10 in the pipe line. She just closed a 17 million dollar deal getting both side, and there are 8 members on her team.

So, does it take having many multiple websites to reach the pinnacle of success these agent enjoy. All these agents are season veterans and have more then 10 years in the business.

Did they mention how much business came from each site, or how much came from the web in general? Do they get a huge volume from their sphere and other referrals and just happen to have all these sites? I would want more info before I start putting up multiple websites.

Multiple websites are helpful but one must be careful not to do too much cross referencing among them... if done incorrectly there are the unfortunate few who find themselves delisted from yahoo or other engines.
