Sales of existing homes and condos in Floirda rose in 2010!...Statewide existing home sales rose 5% for the year, condo sales rose 12% from 2010.

The homebuyer tax credits helped to fuel home and condo sales during the first half of 2010, while favorable affordability conditions and historically low mortgage rates continued to bring buyers into the market in the waning months of the year.

The statewide median sales price for homes declined 4% from Dec., 2009 to Dec., 2010.

The state wide median price for condos declined 17% from Dec., 2009 to Dec., 2010.

This according to the Florida Associationo of Realtors.
