James lots of wierd HTML text in your post except for the end. I love outliving your enemies! At least you see them all go b/4 you!
Like my father always says, I do not want to live to be 100, but when I am 99 I do.
I plan to stay around a long time ... and the best revenge is living happily ever after ! ;-)
I hope to have no real enemies but if I do I would like to outdo them all. I just want a long, healthy, happy rest of my life. I don't think it could ever be long enough.
Jim,
I would add that the person that turned 100 also lived longer than some of his friends too. Gee I hope I can do that too.
Good morning James, I ditto Jay I would hope to have no enemies......Make it a great day. in the snow.
Hi James, Looking into the eyes of our ( first ) grandchild I was brought back to my early childhood and some of the memories of those times. Having an infant around reminds us of the inexorable march of time. Fun read !
When faced with a competitor, my practice is to:
Out think them.
OUt work them, and if these don't work,
I'll out last them.
Interesting saying in politics - Friends come and go but enemies accumulate.
Living to 100 should pretty much guarantee that you have outlived your enemies. If you are lucky, your memory will be good enough too know who you outlived. Wanting to live to be 100 is relative to how close you are to that goal!
James,
Funny!
Always good to read your words of inspiration this early in the morning!
Have a great day my friend!!!
Some of us are feeling the age with the cold weather. Thanks for sharing the story.
