We have had folks in our offices that have had something in common - when buying a home they also paid their agent to "represent" them. Usually this comes to light during our Buyers Briefing's and usually this fact comes to light when a translator (their bi-lingual child), is translating their responses to our questions.
How many times, more than 1/2 a dozen - far too many to be something that is uncommon. So, if you are a buyer for Real Estate do you pay an agent to get you a home? NO NEVER - (one small exception - in the case of a Housing and Urban Development (hud) home, your agent will need to factor in the commission, their fee) - but this is the only exception... At least in the Southern California Real Estate market.
This will explain a bit more - even address Sellers concerns with paying commission - Cost is a one time thing - Value is a lifetime thing...
