Last night we met some friends at a recently opened wine bar in Kent called Red's Wine Bar. It was nice sipping wine and enjoying light fare in comfortable surroundings. If you're in the area stop in and enjoy a glass.
I have a small sign in my kitchen that say's " I like cooking with wine, sometimes I even put it in the food". I guess that tells you a little bit about me. I also know that I will once again be attending the annual Poverty Bay Wine Festival in Des Moines.
This is the seventh annual event and is organized by the Des Moines Rotary Club. It all takes place on March 4,5, and 6th at the Landmark Event Center on Marine View Drive in Des Moines, WA. I think advance tickets are about $25. It's a fun event and all proceeds go toward the fine charity work performed by the Rotary Club.
