Though sales of high-end homes rose last year in San Diego County they're still 68 % lower than the peak of 5,671 sold in 2005.

Local San Diego buyers are speculating that the upper end could have reached bottom which might account for the increase in sales volume.

Thanks for the information - locally, here in Jacksonville, FL, we have found the upper end market moving up as well, a good indicator that buyers see value in the prices and are comfortable that we have may well hit the bottom of the single family market locally.
