I could learn a lot about business from Tom. He checks on me every three months to see if I need to order anything. That is WAY more often than I actually need toner for my laser printer, but he checks anyway. When I think of toner, I think of Tom. I wonder how many people think of me when they think of real estate.
Tom calls and then he follows up with an email. When I do order, he emails and calls to be sure the order was delivered and that it was correct. "Is there anything else I can do for you?" he always asks. He called today while I was on the phone with a customer, but I saw his number flash by on the caller ID of my smartphone. He did not leave a message, so I know he will call back in a day or two.
I did not have an order today for Tom, but I will do him one better. I'll tell all of you about him. The toner cartridges are a great deal, and Tom will be sure you never run out. Give him a call! I'm betting that it's the last time you'll ever have to call him, though, because he will call you often enough to keep your supply fresh.

I still have reserves of three of the four colors my printer uses. I did just open the black cartridge, so maybe I'll order the back-up black cartridge when he calls. He sure does know what Sphere of Influence means!
