Indian Springs Elementary School - Columbus City School DistrictSomeone searched for that info and ended up on my site ColumbusBestBlog.com I must have blogged about the Indian Springs Elementary School in Columbus City Schools...

I doubt they found the answer to the question on my site.

Q. Is Indian Springs Elementary School haunted?

Answering the question with a question... or a series of questions?

Q. The Indian Springs Elementary School in Columbus?

Q. Or the Indian Springs Elementary School in the Olentangy Local School District?

Q. Or is there another Indian Springs Elementary School in another Central Ohio School district?   At first I was thinking Dublin had an Indian Springs Elementary School as well but the older elementary school in Dublin on Bridge Street is Indian Run Elementary.  Of course Dublin or Muirfield are haunted by Chief Leatherlip's ghost... or so goes the ghost story.  Muirfield to Riverside Drive to Bridge Street is a lot of ground for anyone ghost to haunt... The Indian Run Elementary School builiding in Dublin is an old school building by Dublin standards.

Both Indian Springs Elementary on the northside of Columbus and Indian Springs Elementary School in the Indian Springs Elementary School - Columbus City School DistrictOlentangy schools got an Excellent grade from the State of Ohio for the 2009 to 2010 School Year... so if one of them has a ghost it is not affecting academics.

Actually looking at a post about the Columbus Ohio school from last summer the Indian Springs Elementary School in Columbus got a grade of Excellent with Distinction.

It's just a funny question... "is indian springs elementary school haunted"

I assume the Indian Springs Elementary School in Olentangy Local Schools is a new building...  can new builidings be haunted?

The photos here are Indian Springs Elementary School on the north side of Columbus, on E. Henderson Rd.  Columbus Ohio, obviously an older building.  I love the detail.

Q. Is Indian Springs Elementary School haunted?

Which one?

50 E. Henderson Road, Columbus, Ohio 43214

3828 Home Road, Powell, Ohio 43065

Now that's an intriguing title!  I've never heard of such a thing -- but if that's the rumor, I'll bet those little students' imaginations are running wild!

I can't find anything about it...

That title got my attention and it's interesting how one search on Google will result in a connection to something that seems unrelated.  Perhaps the story is a local legend someone heard about but it isn't online.

Haunted...I was thinking "Sereno Group Real Estate" is related to Mary Pope-Handy who likes haunted places.... but  I was thinking Mary is Los Altos but she is Los Gatos... not tall, cat.    On the site someone ended up on there is a post from last Halloween about a haunted high school and I may have written about the elementary school in an unrelated post.  Somehow the two together pulls up my blog for that search.

Maureen, I'm amazed at how things get tied together when you Google something. I was looking for one of my own posts recently (before I figured out the easy way to do) and came up with a post I made about Arizona. Except I didn't but I did comment on someone's post about AZ. We are truly all over :)

I like the whole haunted thing; sounds very interesting!

I found another site for hauntings in the state of Ohio.  Ohio Exploration and I see other Central Ohio schools that have "ghost stories"  but nothing about any Indian Springs Elementary School.  There are so many school districts in Central Ohio, even in Franklin County that I do not know the names of the schools, it is possible it is in another school district. I could look on the state report card site.  I just love this school building.

A lot of the ghost stories online are so horribly written.  Some I wonder if they are written tongue in cheek to see who spots the inconsistencies, I think possibly Google may give my site to searchers because of a discussion about another school with a ghost story that a reader  commented debunking the story because the schools name is changed.  The description of the school is geographically inaccurate.    I can not remember his other criticisms of the ghost story... I actually see a story about that high school on this site along with others I recognize but I believe they have the school name correct on Ohio Exploration.

I love this school building, I love the art deco look with the "Indian" chief head over the door!

It surprises me Ohio Exploration only has one Worthington Ghost Story, the Worthington Inn.  Worthington has so many old, old buildings.... It is so ripe for ghost stories.  Worthington kids do go ghost hunting in the summer, or did.  One of my first posts here was about a girl who got shot ghost hunting in Worthington.
