Christopher Konkowski Scholarship Fund Auction - April 4-6, 2011
This past week marked the first anniversary of the death of Suffern High schools much loved baseball players, Vincent Crotty and Chris Konkowsi. Among the many events scheduled to commemorate the first year anniversary of their death will be a silent auction benefitting the Chris Konkowski Scholorship fund.
The silent auction from April 4-6. will be hosted by Appplebee's restaurant located on the corner of Route 59 and Airmont Road in Suffern. Applebee's restaurant was recently renovated and all the memorablia from the restaurant that was removed from the walls during renovation was donated for the auction.
The event will run for 3 days - April 4, 5, and 6 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM and will be open to the public for viewing and silent bids. On Wednesday April 6 beginning at around 7:00 PM there will be a celebration with raffles, prizes and entertainment and winner's of the silent acution will be announced.
