Not Every Home In Northern Virginia Is A Suburban Colonial Home

By
Real Estate Agent with Integrity Real Estate Group

Log Home in Northern Virginia
Though Northern Virginia neighborhoods are most often dotted with lovely colonials, split levels or ramblers, we also have our share of off the beaten path properties as well.

I'm often asked by buyers if I can find them something that isn't governed by a HOA or would allow them to operate a business in their home.  I even had one buyer recently want to find a home where they could keep a couple of chickens for eggs.  There are plenty of properties in Northern Virginia without HOA's and properties that allow chickens, horses or even a llama or two.

If you are looking to buy home in Northern Virginia that might be a bit different then give Cindy Jones and CJ Realty Group a call at 703-346-2213.  We'll be glad to help you look for your dream home off the beaten path.  If you own a home that needs an agent who understands you might have to think outside the box to get your home SOLD, give me a call.  Ask me about the home "A Home Even Al Gore Would Love" I marketing and sold in Manassas VA few years ago.

Cindy,  Northern Virginia does have so many, many types of properties..I moved from Arlington in 2006, and can not believe how the area has grown.

I have an Aunt that lives in Vienna and a cousin who is in Manassas. I loved the post about the Al Gore home. Pretty cool! It's funny how in my area, HOA's are not the majority. Single family homes are. Horse farms are way out East.

Jackie-we have a lot of HOA's and not everyone wants to live in a neighborhood where they are told how long their grass can grow.

A Great Real Estate Experience

This is a great point, Cindy! I think many people think that the entirety of NOVA is governed by HOAs.
