STUCK for an idea????

Stuck Mouse

I started a series of simple staging tips on my Eastern CT Real Estate Blog.    I received permission by the author of "Dress Your House for Success" to use that title as long as I credited her.  I was blogging along and made it to TIP #7 and I am now officially STUCK.   I use the tips in my advertising and marketing - suggesting that people stop by my blog for the Dress Your House for Success Tip Series.  I also refer my current sellers to it.

So...I was wondering if perhaps a few of you wonderful stagers out there might be willing to provide me with some fresh material.  I, of course, would give you credit for the tip AND include a link to your blog or website.  I'm looking for single tips to continue the series.  I can't think of a better place than Active Rain to help me get UNSTUCK!

P.S. The mouse is just fine.

How about does your house pass the smell test? It shocks me how many homes don't pass inspection.

I am glad the mouse is okay.  I think you will get more comments on the little guy!  I wonder how he got in there?  LOL I bet that picture was taken at the hotel you stayed at in New Orleans...He probably found his way to the Business Center.

Linda, I could be wrong, but I think you have branded yourself this month with the mouse and I love it!  Will you sign an autograph for me when you are even more famous than you already are?????

LOL Carole.   Hey if Angus can be Moo, I can be Squeek.  I had a feeling you would be one of the first comments.  LOL

Linda I could be wrong, but I think the stagers actually have a weekend life, unlike us Realtors® (and maybe lenders, eh George?)  So maybe they will be checking in on Monday lol

Good morning, Squeek!  Did you only bring back one of the mice from New Orleans?

Is Squeek the realtor who peeks everywhere to get you just the right house?

Carol,

I'm rather surprised I heard from not one stager?  Wasn't there a post not too long ago where a stager was upset because we didn't comment on their posts?

Sharon,

My husband actually caught a mouse in the house once and I wouldn't let him put the little thing outside in the snow.  I put him in a hamster cake and he lived over a year.  LOL

"The Lovely Linda"

I just received an email about this post. I now see why. :))

The branding of the mouse. You need to do that. If Angus can Moo, Mariana can flap, I ROAR...What's stopping you from Squeaking?

You have turned the mouse into a tag. Go with that...It's outside of the box.

I have a gift for you...The poor mouse does not know what he should do. Aside from mouthing off! :0)

TLW "The Lovely Wife"...Branded With A...ROAR!

Linda er, Squeek:   what is up with the stagers? Weird! Maybe there is a stagers convention and no one told us; or maybe they are all in a box somewhere screaming to get out!

I just got an idea; of course this is your post so you can take it for what it's worth. Since there is a new AR group for stagers, you can add this post to that category and maybe they will come out of the box they are in! lolol

Just a thought

'Cannot imagine how you can improve on the 5 steps offered by Martha Webb, in her book by that title, Dress Your House for Success.  I have used her videos and brochures for about 20 years, and found that home sellers "get" her message.  'Just ordered the newest edition of her book, updated brochures, and a DVD to replace the outdated videos - and I'm hopeing they haven't changed, except for the styles of clothes on the actors.  Why are you reinventing the wheel, and why on earth would she give you permission to use her trademark?

Margaret - I'm not sure I understand the tone of your comment. Are you questioning my integrity here??

Yes, I spoke to Martha's office and sent them a link to what I was doing and they were fine with it.  I have probably purchased at least 500 of her books since they were first published.

Why wouldn't she give permission for free advertising?  Maybe Margaret just wishes she had thought of it lol

Carole, I agree.  The more free advertising that Martha Webb gets, the more books she is going to sell, so I fail to see Margaret's point here.  Martha book is being promoted and she if being credited as the source of the idea.
