Speechless Sunday – Nothing Prettier!
The sunlight was in just the right spot to make this dogwood look as if it were lit up!

Yes it is really beautiful, but I do know one thing that is prettier....your little Mia!
Beautiful photos Pat and I love Dogwood trees. I'm so proud you used Picnik - see how easy it is...you did use Picnik right - lol?!
Hey, Pat! Love your Princess Cherokee dogwood. Ours is just getting ready to bloom out; but you are south of us aren't you? ^_~
Pat,
What a beautiful picture, perfect for May 1st! Welcoming the new season, of course in Florida we don't have 4 seasons we have 2. Hot and cold, the cold only last a short time :-(
Pat, Our dogwoods are long gone so than you for sharing yours. I love the way the dogwoods look lit up!
I wanted to stop and photograph everything I passed today in my travels. The world has finally turned green . . . and pink . . . and red and yellow and all the colors of the rainbow. It speaks of rebirth and it makes my heart swell. Love your photo . . . as ever.
Pat Dogwood are one of my favorite outside of Magnolias, great pictures:))
Pat, your blossoms are lovely! Ours are vanishing fast, so appreciate them while you can!

Arleen and Tracey--You two have a great week too!
Marchel--Isn't it just amazing---our differences?
Geri--Yes indeed--especially after a cleansing rain. All colors are so vibrant!
Endre--I think they are mine!
Pat--Guess I will look back at the pictures!
DeeDee--Especially love the pink!
Joan--I need to keep my real camera handy and use it more often!
Good morning, Pat. Beautiful tree. I’ve been looking for something similar for my courtyard. I’ve heard of Dogwoods, but never saw one before. I’ll have to research whether they grow here in southern California’s warm, dry climate. Thanks for the idea!
Hi Bill--I would be interested to know that. They are beautiful growing out in the 'wild' here in the Midwest---but only white. I think man had something to do with creating the pink dogwood.
Hi Pat. Well, I did some research and apparently, the Dogwood does not grow well in Murrieta’s Zone 9 climate. :(
