Welcome Winter Residents to Phoenix

By

Here's a quick weather update for all of you who think Phoenix is too hot for you to live here - Today's high was an extraordinarily, absolutely wonderful 68degrees.  WOW!  Last week it hit 89 - an all time high, but today was beautiful!

It makes waking up in the morning almost a pleasure.  Just the mere thought that it's not going to be 120 for the day's high is enough to make me jump out of bed with excitement!

I love fall/winter here in Arizona.  Our winter birds (part-time residents) are returning, which boosts our revenues.  Sure our streets may be a little more crowded, but our winter residents really do bring good things to our area.  They bring their needs, wants, money.  They bring their friends, appetites and their culture.

Our winter birds are welcomed by local business owners with open arms.  I know several businesses that actually send their customers cards each year reminding them how much they love it here (in Arizona) during the winter months.  Like they could forget?!

Anyways - if you need some time away, Arizona is definitely the place to be.  We have plenty of availability of vacation rentals and golf courses that will fit just about any budget.  If you need help finding a place, chat with Tony Marriot (fellow Active Rain member) or perhaps Dru Bloomfield (also Active Rain member).

Well gotta go - my tee time is 15 minutes!  Enjoy the day!

Hi Calie,

If Phoenix wasn't so far I'd love to winter there in our motorhome.

It was 60 here in NH an that was about 15 degrees above normal.

Just loving it...

Thanks Jay
