Kentucky Home Inspector goes to the Georgetown Kentucky Festival of the Horse

By
Home Inspector with B4 U Close Home Inspections&Radon Testing (www.b4uclose.com)

This past weekend Georgetown celebrated with the Festival of the Horse, an annual event celebrating the role of the horse to the history of Scott County. There were exhibits, concessions, arts & crafts, carnival, and a 5k run along with stage entertainment throughout the festival.

Here's some pictures (OK, I'm not the world's greatest photographer) from the Grand Parade last night.

Hover your mouse over the picture to see the label.  (Couldn't see typing it twice.)

Mounted Police keep the Festival of the Horse Parade Route clear.  State Senator Damon Thayer rides in the Festival of the Horse Grand Parade

My vote for Prettiest Horse in the Festival of the Horse Grand Parade   Let's not forget the Red Hats & Purple Chaps gang

Georgetown's main shopping district was shut down to traffic.  Who would want to try to drive thru this?

And of course let's not forget the carnival!

I have no idea who my grandson is flirting with.                     Someone had to go on the big kids rides with him.
Practicing already.                                                              I used to only do it so the girls would hold me tight.

All in all, a grand time in Georgetown.

Plan now and I'll see you there next October 2 - 5, 2008

I think the current owners are a little angry about the thorough inspection you did. They didn't have one done and it cost them $18K.  I, my loan officer and my agent think a home inspection is well worth what I paid.

Thank You for the outstanding job you did on the inspection.  We bought and sold 9 houses and this was the only inspection that was ever done properly.  It was helpful and we will use it to do the repairs with a system, instead of the guess work we usually do.  Thanks again

That looked like a lot of fun! Sorry I missed that one. I can't believe how hot it was for all those horse people. I ended up over in Louisville at the St. James Art Festival. We have to get out of all this 90 degree weather!

Lizette:  Looks like the weatherman is granting your wish.  Down in the 60's on Friday.  Guess I'd bertter start breaking out that cold weather gear.  Was the Art Festival at least indoors in air conditioning.

Morning Erby,  Nice pics.  Makes me miss my involvement with horses in Michigan.
