Education & Training with Better Homes & Gardens | The Masiello Group

Maine Wildlife ParkVisit the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray Maine.

I just heard on the news today that the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray has had decreased attendance recently.  My family had such a wonderful time there last year, so I thought I'd post some of their upcoming events.

The park is a definite must see!  You can read about our trip here.

Visit their website for video and audio tours and ticket information.

Here are the upcoming events.  I've already put the June 4th "The Ancient Ones" on my calendar.

Saturday May 21 Wind Over Wings Join this new-to-Maine nonprofit raptor education center to see & learn more about our feathered predators. Live birds featured will include an Eastern Screech-Owl, a Peregrine Falcon (fastest animal on earth) & a Great Horned Owl - who will amaze you with her ability to flap her wings silently. All birds are ambassadors for their species, overcoming serious injuries to lead them into their lives in education.

Kristen, I have been there so many times. I love that place. You just took me back about 40 years. THANK YOU!

Did I tell you my grandmother Edwards (nee Field) worked at Poland Spring House as a young woman? I also really love the  Shaker Museum, oh and Sabbath Day Lake.

Very true Scott.  Come on over some time. :-)

Thats so cool Charles.  That area probably looks a lot different now.  They widened the road and there are a ton more new buildings...still a nice rural feel though.  I love the Shake Museum too.

I think you'd love it Lynda.

It's a really big deal here Brian.  My dad keeps the fold up fishing rod I gave him in the car, just in case he passes a great fishing spot when he is out and about.

Hi Debbie!  Yup, they have tons of stuff going on in the summer.

Thank you Sharon.
