I haven't been using wordpress but I think it's probably time that I did. Thanks for the instructions on how to make this easy.
Thumbs up big guy!
Good info as usual! A Wordpress blog has always been on my to do list. Good to know I don't have to worry about my AR blog.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! What I'd REALLY love is to be able to export the posts one by one, so that I can tag them by content on my outside WP site. Create a library of old posts on different subjects that could be searched, rather than a rolling rss feed type of thing. Guess I'll go play with it and see what I can figure out.
Linda - you can import them all as "drafts" then tag and categorize them individually if you like. :-)
Wow, cool, thanks Brad, you're the best!!
I have bookmarked this post and will study it in detail.
Brad, we can always rely on you for great information and direction.
Brad,
It's three in the morning the day after the opening of Dallas Raincamp, and I'm searching the AR site for info about that! Wish I could have been there this time, but it wasn't in the cards, as I'm doing a trade show in Phoenix and setup is today. Kudos to Zillow for being a major sponsor!

Hi Brad, it was nice meeting you at the Dallas Rain Camp and thanks for sharing the great information which you shared.
Hey all, sorry for the delay in response time here.
Went from San Francisco to Dallas and then to Miami and finally getting the chance to respond here.
It's been an awesome past couple days in fact I've got enough content to Blog about for weeks to come but for now, I'm just checkin in and then checkin back out. Taking a few days off to enjoy the wife and family (disconnecting) but I'll be back next week.
If you need any help with this procedure, feel free to leave a comment or just shoot me an email, thanks.
Have a great weekend, ciao for now! :-)
I use Active Rain as my main blog platform and then export it to word press and my social media sites. It's great to have my signature and links automatically displayed.
Brad - thanks for this one! I am bookmarking this to come back to on Tuesday and learn exactly how to do it. Thanks again.
OK, going to give this a shot. Looks simple...famous last words. Thanks, Brad!
It's pretty easy Gary, you know where to find me if you need any help.
(I'm actually here in your backyard right now... not literally, but in Miami) :-)
Thanks this was helpful
Brad -- this is so helpful I am trying to transer from one website provider to our company website agent-specific sites. So I was looking for content for a blog there. Wanted some way to have some of my blogs transferred/copied. Your blog is just what I need. Will re-blog, okay?
Somehow I missed this the first time around....thank you for the REblog and I'll try to get the word out with another REblog to the far reaches of AR! Thanks, Brad!
What about importing INTO ActiveRain?
I would LOVE to be about to tie AR into my Posterous, as the blogging and autopost via email on cell phone is sure frikkin easy! :)
